Sleep:
Something is going on this month with your sleeping, one week you sleep perfectly all through the night, the next week is feels like we are back at square one and waking up two times a night. Maybe you are going through a growth spurt. It certainly seems that way by looking at the rate you are going threw your clothes. 2 naps a day it the norm most of the time, usually a longer one in the morning and shorter one is the evening. Bedtime is around 8pm and you wake up anywhere between 4:30am and 7:30am.
Feeding:
You are such a good eater. Pretty much any food I give you, you will eat. So much so that you want to eat whatever one else is eating. We can't eat in your line of sight without you yelling out and letting us know you want some. Added broccoli, onions, garlic, chicken, tomatoes, blueberries, strawberries, zucchini, summer squash, nectarines, melon, and peaches to your food variety this month.
By the subtraction method, around 16 pounds
Length:
?
Diapers and Clothes:
Size 2 diapers. Had to move to the 9 month size, you are catching up on the charts
Personality/Likes/Miscellaneous:
- Right after you turned 7 months you figured out how to roll over from your stomach to your back.
- The day you turned 8 months your first tooth finally cut threw. For the most part you were pretty good about it, but it was cute to see you fiddle around with your tongue trying to feel it.
- Not a real fan of crawling but you can get somewhere if you want to. When I go in to check on you while you are sleeping you have turned yourself on your tummy and have traveled up to the furthest corner of the crib.
- Your balance is getting better and better. Standing at your activity table in the evenings after dinner is one of your favorite things at the moment and I do not have to help you with your balance, but you do still fall down on occasion.
- You are getting awfully close to pulling your self up. We are only a few days away from this milestone. Looks like you might skip crawling and go right to walking
- I got you a walker this month. You are able to scoot around in the kitchen which makes you very happy. Haven't figured out yet how to maneuver it once you hit a wall, and yell for someone to help you get unstuck.
- Your talking has started to turn in to some more recognizable sounds. You can say "ba ba ba" and "oooooo"
