Sleep:
For the most part you are sleeping threw the night. If you do wake up, usually you find you pacifier and pop it back and you are all set. Bedtime is still around 8pm and you are waking up around 4:30. After a quick nursing you fall back asleep till 6ish. Naps are getting a little more hit and miss. You are working your self into a 2 naps a day schedule, with a long morning nap and a short afternoon nap most days, but switch it up every once an awhile. You are also choosing to sleep on your side now instead of your back, as you are almost able to roll over from back to stomach.

Feeding: Oh my goodness do you love your solid foods. After your first bite of cereal you never looked back. You are eating solid foods three times a day, breakfast around 9:30 - 10, lunch around 2 and dinner at 6. Nursing 4 times a day, first thing in the morning, and then after you eat your solids. So far you have eaten, sweet potatoes, carrots, peas, rutabaga, parsnips, avocado, bananas, apples, mangos, pears, plums. I think I might be leaving out a few. Anything you have tried you have loved.

By the subtraction method, between 15-16 pounds

Diapers and Clothes:
Size 2 diapers. 6 month summer clothes, outgrowing them quickly

Personality/Likes/Miscellaneous:
- This month you have been able to sit on your own. This is exciting, especially during bath time as you are able to now play with your toys in the tub.
- When are those teeth going to show themselves. Its as if you are always teething. You go threw countless bibs a week, and it gives me an excuse to change your outfit a couple times a day. For the most part you humor my multiple outfit changes.
- We introduced Sophie the Giraffe to you this month for your teething, you enjoy it so much that we don't dare leave the house without it.
- Talk, talk, talk all the time. This month there was several days where you would give us a high pitch scream using every once of air that was in your lungs. Also Aunt Lisa taught you how to put your hand in your mouth when you talk and to move it to make wabba wabba wabba noises.
- Who needs to sit when you can stand. Much more content to be standing than sitting. One of your favorite things to do it to stand on mama's bed holding her hands, and then let go so you fall backwards. You think this is hilarious.
- I can't believe that we are on the downward slope of your first year. I am trying to adsorb as much of this time with you as possible, but it never feels like enough. Everyday you are growing and changing right before my eyes.
